Deposit Intent Refund Policy

This policy describes the refund terms and conditions applicable to the €20 deposit of intent paid by users on the 10-Chairs website, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. It aims to provide clear and transparent information on the cases in which a refund can be obtained and the procedure to follow.

1. Reminder of the nature of the deposit of intent

The €20 deposit of intent is not a final purchase of a product. It is a deposit/credit note paid in advance by a future customer to show their interest and obtain a discount when the 10-Chairs products are commercially launched. In return for this deposit: - The customer will benefit from a discount allowing them to obtain the lowest price of the available pre-orders. - If the product is not marketed in the form of a pre-order within the specified period (see section 2 below), the customer will be able to obtain a refund of this deposit.

Apart from statutory provisions (right of withdrawal) or the specific case of non-commercialization, the deposit of intent is non-refundable. The customer remains free not to use their credit note during the pre-order or purchase of the product, but in this case they lose the benefit of the deposit without being able to claim a refund.

2. Refund in the event of non-commercialization in the form of pre-orders by December 31, 2027

10-Chairs Innovations undertakes to fully refund the €20 deposit to each customer who paid this deposit and requests it if the 10-Chairs products are not marketed in the form of a pre-order by December 31, 2027, at the latest.

This refund scenario will apply, in particular, in the following situations: - Prolonged project delay: if the launch of the crowdfunding campaign is postponed beyond the year 2027 for any reason whatsoever (technical challenges, lack of funding, etc.). - Abandonment of the project: if the Company decides not to commercially launch 10-Chairs products.

In these cases, each depositor who has requested a refund will receive a return of the sum of €20, so as not to suffer any financial loss on an unfinished project.

Refund procedures: - Refund initiative: The refund will be initiated by the Company from January 1, 2028 (or earlier if the decision of non-commercialization in the form of pre-order is formalized before this date). You must request this by email at: contact@10-chairs.com and confirm your contact details if they have changed. - Payment method: We will, as far as possible, issue the refund using the same payment method as that used for the initial payment. For example, if you paid by PayPal, we will refund your PayPal account; if you paid by credit card, we will issue a refund to that card via our provider. - Customer notification: An email notification will be sent to the email address provided at the time of deposit to notify you that the refund has been initiated and, if necessary, to ask you for additional information (for example, new bank details if the initial payment method is no longer operational). - Processing time: The Company will endeavor to refund all deposits of depositors who have initiated a refund request within 30 days of 12/31/2027 or following the official announcement of the non-launch of the crowdfunding campaign. The time for the refund to appear on your statement will then depend on your bank or PayPal, for example (allow a few business days). - Amount: The amount refunded will be exactly €20, without any deductions of any kind. No fees will be charged for this refund.

This refund terminates the mutual commitment related to the deposit of intent: you get your money back and, in return, you will no longer have exclusive promotional offers applicable to a future purchase of the product (since the latter was not launched in time).

3. 14-day right of withdrawal

In accordance with the law, any online payment by a consumer benefits from a 14-day right of withdrawal in the absence of immediate supply of a good or service (in this case, a credit note). The deposit of intent falls within this scope: therefore, you have 14 days from the payment of your deposit to change your mind.

·         If you exercise this right within the specified period, we will fully refund the €20 paid, without penalty.

·         You do not have to justify your decision, however, you must notify us clearly (for example, by sending an email to contact@10-chairs.com stating that you are withdrawing your deposit, along with your first/last name, the email address used, and the date of payment).

·         In accordance with regulations, we will process the refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal request, using the same payment method as was used initially, unless you agree to a different method.

After this 14-day period, the deposit becomes firm and final – you will no longer be able to obtain an early refund, except in the case mentioned in section 2 (non-commercialization in pre-order form before the end of 2027). We therefore invite you to carefully consider your commitment when paying the deposit, knowing that it involves waiting for the release of the product to benefit from it.

4. Procedure in case of a refund request

4.1. Refund on request (right of withdrawal or other): If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days or request a refund in another specific context (for example, if, in an extraordinary case, the Company offers to refund for a commercial reason), you must explicitly inform us. The simplest way is to send an email to contact@10-chairs.com specifying the subject of your request. We will confirm receipt of it and keep you informed of the processing (which is generally very quick for a withdrawal). If you do not receive a response within a few days, please do not hesitate to contact us again or use another means (post, telephone if applicable).

4.2. Assistance: In the event of difficulties (refund not received, abnormally long delay, etc.), our customer service remains at your disposal for verification. Keep in mind that depending on banking networks, a refund to a card can take up to 5-10 business days to appear on your account. Similarly, a PayPal refund can be instant to your PayPal balance, but if your account is linked to a card or bank account, there may be a slight transfer delay.

4.3. Proof of purchase: It is recommended to keep the deposit confirmation email you received during the initial payment. Although we have our own records, this document serves as proof and may speed things up if necessary. Usually, reminding us of your PayPal transaction number or the last 4 digits of the card used will be sufficient for us to retrieve your payment.

5. Effects of the refund

If a refund of your deposit of intent is made (under the right of withdrawal), here are the consequences to keep in mind: - Loss of exclusive financial advantages: You will no longer be eligible for the "super-early bird" offers proposed during the crowdfunding. If the product is eventually released, you will have to pay the full price (unless other commercial offers apply) if you wish to purchase it. Unless otherwise specified by you, we will keep you on the email list of people interested in the project to continue informing you of progress (unless you prefer to unsubscribe). Put simply, you will no longer have the status of "supporter who made a deposit of intent." - Termination of the relationship associated with the deposit: Once the refund has been processed, the General Terms and Conditions of Sale relating to the deposit will cease to apply to you. In other words, neither you nor the Company will have any future obligations to each other regarding this deposit (you got your money back; the Company no longer has to grant you a special discount).

6. Final provisions

This Refund Policy is an integral part of the Company's General Terms and Conditions of Sale. In the event of a contradiction, the GTC shall prevail.

The Company reserves the right to modify this Policy in the event of changes in conditions or regulations. The applicable version is the one in force on the date of your refund request.
